A museum about the largest German prison camp in France will open in Ravenoville in 2028

The museum project had been on the drawing board since the revelation to the general public in 2014 of the existence of a German prison camp run by the American army from 1944 to 1947 in Foucarville (Manche). Ten years on, planning permission has just been granted. The new memorial site will be located in Ravenoville. Opening is scheduled for spring 2028…
